Great Microscopes has a thirty (30) day inspection policy for returns. You have thirty days from the delivery-date of your purchase to test and inspect the item. If the item does not fit your application or does not meet your needs, please contact us for a Return of Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number within the thirty days. Please retain the original box and all packing, to ensure the item is in resalable condition. You may contact us directly through email at our Contact Us section. All returns must be accompanied with an RMA number.
If you contact us within the inspection period for a return, you may be refunded the purchase amount, minus applicable deductions if any, which may include original shipping and handling costs. Deductions will be assessed based on the condition of the product, and reason for return.
Damaged Items:
If your item is damaged during shipping, please report these damages to the shipping company responsible and request a damage claim number and forward it to us. Please also take pictures of the damages and email them to us. We will have the shipping company pick up the damaged package(s). Upon receipt of the claim number from you or the shipping company, we will ship your replacement items.
Wrong Items Received:
If you receive the wrong item(s), please take a picture of the received item(s) and email it to us. Upon confirmation of the wrong item(s) being shipped, a prepaid shipping label will be emailed to you for the return. Once the wrong item(s) is returned, we will immediately ship you the correct item. You must notify us within 30 days of receipt if there is a problem with your order, so contact us right away if you did not receive the correct items with your order, or if anything is missing from your order.
Missing Items:

For microscope/camera combos, our shipping department will sometimes utilize the outer portions of the Styrofoam (see below). Before reporting a missing item, please thoroughly check all of the packaging materials as well as checking to see if more than one box was shipped for your order. If two or more boxes shipped, they may arrive at different times. Check with the courier’s website to confirm how many boxes were shipped.
